Barry is an award-winning producer. In the 90s, he worked with Dick Clark as Executive Producer of successful live shows. He has produced award-winning concert films/live TV Specials and numerous Billboard #1 chart-topping DVDs, CDs, and vinyls featuring some of the world’s biggest artists.

Ty Roberts


Ty is a serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the music industry. He co-founded Gracenote and served as Chief Strategy Officer for nearly 18 years. As a visionary technologist, he developed technologies that power products including iTunes, Comcast Xfinity and Ford Sync that are used by hundreds of millions of consumers worldwide. He holds dozens of patents for his inventions and has created multiple technical standards across the industry.

Jonathan Arendt


Jonathan is the former CEO of Jazz FM, the world’s largest English language jazz radio station. He is a serial entrepreneur and co-founded Hallett Arendt, the UK’s leading audio research agency before helping establish multiple radio services in the UK. He is a Trustee and Fellow of the UK Radio Academy and is co-founder and CEO of jazzed.

Frank Taubert


Frank is the former CEO & co-founder of 24-7 Entertainment, a pioneering B2B digital music service provider who worked with many retailers, telcos and major labels across the world. The company delivered billions of music streams and downloads globally. 24-7 was sold to Europe’s largest electronic retailer MediaMarkt/Saturn and was later merged with 7digital. He is co-founder and CTO of jazzed.

Dr Marcel Engh


Marcel is a former Vice President of Sony Music and Bertelsmann. He launched and led SBX Communications, Sony’s Brand Entertainment Agency where he built revenues to $27m. In 2010 he created Exploding Plastic, a Cultural Branding Agency developing and implementing entertainment-based communication solutions for global brands such as Coca-Cola, Samsung, Diageo and Nike. He is co-founder and CMO of jazzed.

Barbara Shapiro

SVP Business Development

Over 30 years experience in strategic brand and cross media partnerships in the entertainment, music and B2C sectors with companies such as Time Inc./Time Warner, the House of Seagram and Backer Spielvogel Bates. Her consulting practice focused on developing strategic deal originations generating revenues for clients including Kagan World Media, Media Business Corp., and A&E Television Networks.
